Setting Your Availability & Service Radius
Control which jobs you are offered by setting your weekly availability and the distance you are willing to travel.
Key Field Takeaways
- Your availability calendar decides which time brackets you can be booked into.
- Set a realistic service radius — too wide means unpaid travel time.
- Update availability before holidays so you are not offered jobs you cannot take.
# Setting Your Availability & Service Radius
Two settings quietly decide how much suitable work reaches you: when you are available, and how far you will travel.
Step 1 — Availability calendar
Mark the mornings, afternoons and evenings you can work. A customer booking in a bracket you have closed simply will not see you as free in that slot.
Step 2 — Service radius
Your coverage radius is measured from your base area. A tight radius means less travel and better punctuality; a wide one means more jobs but longer unpaid journeys. Start tight and widen only when you have the time.
